As we approach the forward movement into a new year we reflect on some of the early start up businesses that got Eastbourne's commercial activity off the ground. 

So this is an image taken at Caffyns dealership on the Colonnades, Eastbourne back in 1904. There do not appear to be any advertising boards on the showroom windows or fascia promoting any brand.
