UK Government is working on a new house sale agreement for England which is set to make the process faster and avoid sales of homes falling through. It will be trialled later this year, Housing Minister Heather Wheeler told the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) annual conference. The aim is to develop a standard reservation agreement and officials are working with the industry led Home Buying and Selling Group and there could be compensation for those who lose money as a result of failed sale. One in three homeowners search again for a new property within a year of buying one. As many as one in three (34%) of Brits admits they have searched for a new home despite having just bought a property, new research has found.
